The Ottawa Senators have placed forwards Connor Brown and Dylan Gambrell in the NHL's COVID-19 protocol, the team announced on Monday.
Brown and Gambrell were kept at home as a precaution as neither player has tested positive for the virus yet. Both could be available to the team later this week.
Brown, 27, has logged two goals and five assists in 11 games for the Senators this season.
Gambrell, 25, has skated in four games with the Senators this season, his first with the team.
Ottawa cancelled Monday's practice for precautionary reasons after placing defenceman Nick Holden and associate coach Jack Capuano in COVID-19 protocol on Sunday. Forward Austin Watson entered the protocol on Friday.
The Senators next play on Tuesday when they travel to take on the Boston Bruins.
