A local business was busy preparing a hearty roast beef dinner this weekend in support of Daffodil place.
The owners of The Newfoundland Embassy were inspired to do so after listening to VOCM’s One Night Stand Radiothon in support of the facility last week. Over $334,000 was raised.
In a post to social media, they say they wanted to help support the work Daffodil Place does by surprising staff and residents alike with a home cooked meal.
My brother and I were listening to the radiothon for the Daffodil House a few days ago. To help support the amazing work they do, we decided to surprise their residents & staff by cooking a roast beef dinner. 😊
