Holiday market and celebration for all ages takes place this weekend in downtown Huntsville - Huntsville Doppler - Huntsville Doppler

The Downtown Huntsville BIA is thrilled to announce the inaugural Muskoka Market: Huntsville Holiday Edition!

They are working with local partners to bring our community together to shop local and take part in some holiday cheer on Saturday, November 27 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there and local cafes will have hot chocolate available. The streets will be decorated in holiday cheer. There will be warming outdoor fire pits, carolers and dancers, an organized shopping experience for kids, giveaways and more.

The annual Customer Appreciation Crawl kicks off the festivities on Thursday, November 25, including a tree lighting ceremony at Town Hall in partnership with the Rotary Club. The Huntsville Community Choir will also be joining us for some holiday cheer!

Please Note: Main Street from Brunel Road to Centre Street will continue to be closed to vehicle traffic from Saturday, November 27 at 8 a.m. to Sunday, November 28 at 4 p.m.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in downtown Huntsville on Saturday, November 27 from 12-2 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., and on Sunday, November 28 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Socially distanced photo opportunities are available with beautiful murals painted by Zoe Valentine.

You won’t want to miss Illuminate the Night, a winter-inspired light drone show overlooking downtown Huntsville. The show takes place on Saturday at 7 p.m. sharp. Drones will be 400ft in the air and you can view this show from Main Street. It’s a socially distanced, family-friendly show where you can enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate surrounded by holiday music.

“The world and the way we look at it has changed; science and green technology will drive our cumulative goals. Drone shows offer this as an inspirational change from conventional mediums, in that they are free from air pollution, noise pollution, water pollution and fire hazards.” ~ North Star Drone Shows

A Children’s Holiday Shopping Adventure with Pharmasave and The Nutty Chocolatier will take place on Sunday, November 28 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
