Get ready for the running of the bulls.
And bucking. And spinning. And stomping. And, hopefully, a whole lot of holding on.
For the first time, Rogers Place will host the 2021 Professional Bull Riders National Finals from Nov. 12-13, after this season’s PBR Canada Cup Series schedule was announced Monday.
Heading into its sixth season, PBR Canada’s nationally televised Cup Series is holding six events at six different cities in Alberta and Saskatchewan, beginning at the end of August and culminating with the championships in Edmonton.
After a season-long battle, the 2021 PBR Canada champion will be crowned following the two-day Edmonton event, which, also for the first time in league history, will be broadcast live on TSN.
Tickets are available at www.PBRCanada.com, with the addendum, of course, that all “events are subject to change, planned in accordance with directives issued by relevant government and health authorities given the evolving regulations during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Rogers Place has previously hosted the PBR once, welcoming the league for the first-ever PBR Global Cup, akin to the Olympics of bull riding, in November 2017.
But Edmonton has twice prior hosted the elite Cup Series, with three-time PBR Canada champion Aaron Roy (Yellow Grass, Sask.) winning in 2018, and Daylon Swearingen (Piffard, N.Y.) claiming the victory in 2019 en route to being crowned the season’s PBR Canada champion.
