Jun 6, 2021 | 10:22 AM
QUESNEL — As B.C.’s Restart could ease provincial health restrictions over the next month, more shoppers and tourists may be in Quesnel’s downtown area.
In anticipation of more tourists, the Quesnel Downtown Association is organizing a cleanup day in the city’s core on Tuesday (June 8) at 6 p.m.
Targeted areas for the Quesnel Downtown Association sweep and pick up litter from is the core’s sidewalks and gardens between the 200-block and 400-block of Reid Street. The City of Quesnel sanctioned the cleanup day.
Garbage bags and gloves will be provided, but residents are encouraged to bring their leaf blower so gravel can also be cleaned up in Downtown Quesnel.
